How do you get a pic in the thread

dude

Recommended Posts

When you've attached the image, preview the post and then click on the thumbnail to open it in another window. Then copy the link in that window into the thread, if that makes sense.

Above will work or upload the picture to photobucket mate, then copy the img code.

You have to upload them straight from your computer using the paperclip attachments button :)

Tried that and it doesn't appear to work you just get the link in blue and the thumbnail.

ok, after you go to 'manage attachments' and upload the pics you want-

-hit 'preview', then right click over the thumbnail and copy the image link

attachment.php?attachmentid=130791&d=1303145105

-then press the little image button above your text box

attachment.php?attachmentid=130792&d=1303145105

-right click and paste the link in the box

attachment.php?attachmentid=130793&d=1303145105

-click 'ok'

attachment.php?attachmentid=130794&d=1303145105

and that should be it.

attachment.php?attachmentid=130795&d=1303145105

It does not give the option to copy link when I right click the thumbnail.

I don't get that either mate, you have to click on it to open it and then copy the webpage address at the top of the new window that opens, then follow the rest of the above.......make sure you don't get http:// twice when you paste in the address

It's certainly not the easiest system, especially if you want to add lots of photo's, I am surprised there's not an easier way
