safcdixon
I have adjustable h+r suspension on my car and since putting a standard front on ( finally shot of the veilside ) it looks really high at the front, and would like to drop it a little bit, now I have no idea how to do this so any help would be appritiated. JamieP
If they are bottom adjustable you simple crack open the locking rings and spin the shock to raise/lower. If they are not bottom adjustable you have to raise via compressing the spring with the locking rings.
safcdixon
they are bottom adjustable, So I don't have to take any weight off them? It sounds to easy to be true! What would I use to release the locking nuts? Don't think I have anything big enough? Cheers for the quick reply

Luxluc
Remove the wheel, unscrew the locking ring and turn clockwise. Attention : 1 inch of drop on the suspension is not necessary 1 inch body drop. Luc
JamieP
Any weight off? lost me there. You need some coilover spanners really, you can knock them open with a hammer and bar if you are careful. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/COILOVER-C-SPANNERS-ADJUSTABLE-SUSPENSION-TEIN-CUSCO-/280658056263?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4158861447
safcdixon
Think I might aswell order the spanners they are only a tenner, and don't want to end up braking something By taking the wieght off I meant compress the spirings or loosen the lower wishbone by what you've said I don't need too anyway, how much would I need to drop it for say two inch drop or is it just trial n error?
