Guest stevebratcher
So I've got a twin plate clutch in my supra and it makes a lot of grinding noise whenever i push the clutch - I'm new to tuner cars and haven't had the supra long - my buddy that I got it from says its completely normal for the noise which I believe is semi accurate but I don't know for sure - anyone have any information on that? Rinus
If you push the clutch, the steel plate between the frictionplates will come loose, thats whats rattling very loud... When driving at lower revs you will also get a rattling sound, this is the sound of the gearbox, cause twinplates always have light flywheels, the vibration of the engine will not be dampned by the dualmassflyhweel... I had an osgiken twinplate and got sick of all these issues, and cause I will not get as far as build engines over 600hp, single plate will do the job...
