SupraDan24
I seem to have contracted some malware called Fast Search, now idea how. It re-routes all google searches through it and comes up with nothing everytime, extremely annoying. After many failed Google Searches on how to remove it, i finally came up with some info on it. It started life infecting computers through an app on Facebook called "Tatoo" which i havent downloaded, so im assumning its found a new way. I've tried all the ways to remove it that u can find on Google (eventually lol) but none work, seems to have been upadated since 2009 when it first hit the scene. Does anybody know how to remove it?? It affects both Firefox and IE so i need it gone really. Dan

Guest atkay
Start in safe mode with networking. Then download malware bytes, run it, then after its completed run it again. Should do the job Alex
TubbyTwo
yep, boot windows in safe mode and malwarebytes scan. Rkill is good, also run tskiller as well.
TubbyTwo
Also worth once its removed deleting all the restore points and creating a new one. Have come across some nasties lately that lodge in the restore points and registry then just flood the computer again. If you using firefox I would suggest getting the addons: noscript and addblock pro. Also a decent real time system spyware scanner that monitors the computer is worth it.
