I think people need to wake up and see the light, let's face it the debate can go on forever, but life will not. Do people not think about life after death? What's the need of a soul after death. Face it people religions happened for a reason, prophets around the world spread the information there is a GOD, no one is forced to beleive, as GOD gave us humans free will. But also bare in mind satan exists, we have seen this through exorcism and people possessed by demons, the information on both sides is real and provided. Shame to see that if the illumanati is found to be true, then Satan has out tasked his own task in my theory, and as the years go on more and more people are forgetting about the most important things in life, for me obviously it's now my love for GOD :). If only the majority believed in " for one God I beleive" would the world be at peace.

Out of interest Jazz, is it a real love for God or a fear of the possible consequences of not loving him/her/it/they/all that is etc. that some would have us believe will be eternal damnation? I just could never accept that God would either want or need for anything as it's by definition, the sum total of all that exists. Even that which doesn't exist but we can imagine, like Santa, for example, sorry, Satan. :D

Lol, well before it was never, but now I feel something, when I did pray in the past I used to get sexual thoughts I stopped. Last couple months I questioned myself hundreds of questions and never got none of my answers so I gave up. Then one day I woke up as if something was telling me to wake up, since then I started praying with love from inside and funny enough all my questions have now be answered and I don't get any sexual desire whilst praying, I see a different world, long story :).

Jazz Lightyear :)

...when I did pray in the past I used to get sexual thoughts, I stopped.

Too much goddamn information Jazz :D

I was flying through space lol then ended up in this bright place full of grass, flowers, music being played and I was flying ;). Priceless :).

Reading Festival on acid is quite similar. Apparently. (Admission ticket obviously paid for by Mastercard)

Jazz, I've just come in from a gig and tonight I see you've furnished...no...blessed us with some magnificent posts. I liked the George W Bush type one earlier (The Truth etc...) the boys picked up on.

Bless you sir :)

Question 1: What is a soul Jazz? Do we all have souls? Is your answer an opinion or a fact? I ask as you have mentioned it in a "matter of fact" way.

Question 2: Does Santa Clause exist? The Easter Bunny? The Tooth Fairy? What makes you think that they do/don't?

I don't have faith in question two so that's out the book to be answered, but question one is my opinion;

We came from God we will return to Him and give an account for ourselves when our task on earth is over. That's not a reason to be afraid if we simply accept that he sent His only son to lead the way for us who don't know the way. If you accept Jesus, there is no downside, He will stick closer to you than family even in hard times, give you love and peace, help you become a better person and you'll live forever!!! If you think you don't need Him you could end up where you don't want to go. Don't be so dependent on your own intelligence that you that you believe there is no such thing as eternal life. Don't think you are such a good person that you'll automatically go to heaven. There is only one God. That same God is wise and intelligent enough to give us the answer to this extremely important question before we even thought to ask. Like any good teacher He made sure that we would have an instruction book to refer to so that we would not have to guess the answer! The Bible is the oldest instruction book in the world. It tells us we need to know Jesus! You probably have insurance on your car so it's even wiser to have insurance for your soul. Trust me, you don't want to face death without God :).

I'll run the risk.

Not having a faith in one means you don't believe in them. I followed that on with why not? You must have a reason for not having a faith in them surely? If faith is brought about with no reasonin then it brings with it no sense. No sense makes you nuts ;)

Your correct, but surely there comes a time in someones life where you ask why are we here and what's the purpose. I guess having these bibles help to answer my questions, well most of them. I was going mad for 3 months questioning myself, but now I feel at peace :).

Not helping you to answer my question though are they? You are choosing what you want to hear and dismissing what you don't.

Nothing changes with finding the light. It must be in a tunnel.

See this is one of the problems as I see it;

Take a man who devotes his life to his work & his family. Perhaps he's a Surgeon saving countless lives and/or improving the quality of life for many to enjoy (some of these patients will of course be religious - so he's allowed them to continue to exist with their views too).

Ok, he's a non-believer, so he runs the risk of not getting into heaven. He may have to join the back of a queue, so to speak.

Man #2 is a murderer, and a rapist. He's spent his life destroying individuals and their families. He does not care for human life. It has zero value to him.

Just before he dies, he has an epiphany and he hears the word of God. He now believes. Excellent. He dies the next day by the way.

So God says: "Ok Mr Murderer, come in you gorgeous man, as I know you've changed...and oi, you, yeah, you non-believing Surgeon, stand asisde please and let this man through.

So Jazz, what's your view on this timeless and cliched moral dilema for the Lord?

And secondly, I haven't had the calling. It seems somewhat unfair in a sense Jazz. You have, but I haven't?

Why are you so down with the big man and I am not?

I can't to be honest answer that as I'm not dead, neither have iv been far enough knowledge to know such answers and besides I'm not Jesus ;). But I would believe such a sinner would be punished regardless of believing before death, from what I know God is a very jelous God and he's provided a way for us with the guidance of the holy bibles. My guess they might both end in hell, but the sinner would get tortured there for enternity for his sins.
