welshbuddy
hey guys, on saturday im going to fit some new MESH =], the lad before me had mesh in his garage, its the first time, iv had a proper look at it, and i love it so.. how do you guys fit mesh attachements? NOW FITTED!! in the end, when i pulled the old stuff out, *looked horrid and dirty*, there are 4 wires holding it, i have now had the wires tucked in abit around the mesh, and glued the wire to the mesh, through the hole, its worked so far, but im not sure at speeds of 120mph ( NOT! public road ) if it will stay in? because of the small holes and not enough of air gets through, well we will see ! cheers daz. mawby
Is it pre-cut to size or is this a DIY job?

The-Plethora
I have a Do luck front and want to mesh it to provide a bit of protection to the FMIC. My current idea is to use zip tie anchors ... http://images.cableorganizer.com/adhesive-clips-bases/images/01-adhesive-base_red-cable-tie.jpg You wont see these as they will be on the inside so even with decent metal mesh and enough anchors it should hold in place well. Cant see many other options?. Where can I get metal mesh that I can cut to fit?
welshbuddy
BUMP, mesh is done , well awkward, but as you can tell on the state of the old stuff its better, * i think* lol
