Problems with 2JZ-GTE

Hi,

 

I need HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I just bought a Supra from the UK and I live in Zambia in the middle of Africa so dont have anyone "skilled" to take my car to so I thought I would ask people who have experience with the Supra TT.

 

I have a bailey dump valve and when I was driving it yesterday it was working fine, dumping the air properly (hissing noise) and then all of a sudden it stopped working. and now my turbos wont boost! Any ideas as to what could be the problem?

 

Also, I have an Aluminium radiator and I dont have a reserve bottle. Every time I turn the car off the anti-freeze boils out of the overflow pipe? The car doesnt overheat when I drive it, only when I switch off. Is this because of the reserve bottle was removed?

 

Any and all advise will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a pipe off somewhere. I'd have a good look around under the bonnet and check for any hoses/pipes off. Happens a bit actually.

...and yeah you need to put an expansion bottle back on.

boost is probable a vac pipe or intercooler pipe off check clips, radiator leaking you need to get a expantion botttle fitted to stop the loss of coolent

The big downpipe off the etcs kept blowing off of mine which gave me the same problem as it sounds you have, theres a good place to check first.

Bottom end of the pipe, not the end that goes on the etcs cause it only clips onto a plastic collar.
