merckx
Mostly the same as any other car - fluids , plugs , filters, brakes etc. When you put new plugs in you've got to remove these 2 breather hoses which can be rock hard, you can get them off with a little heat to soften the rubber but it's best to replace them. toyota part number 12263-46010 & 12264-46010 (if needed) I would think the subframe bolts could get overlooked, from what I've read they need to be checked as they do loosen. http://www.mkiv.com/manual/manualtt/general_maintenance/mo14.jpg The fuel filter is under the car - front passsenger seat area if he can't find it. Can't remember how often it needs to be replaced though.
