RedM
If you do I hate you, you robbing buggers. My Santander online account processed a credit card payment twice with only one click. They coudn't stop the payments so suggest I ring Capital One. Cap One can refund me but it'll take 14 days! WTF? I can make an instant payment. I can spend money on their card instantly. Try to get money back though and it'll take 14 days. Robbing bunch of Brian Cants. Even worse, the guy in whatever country he was in really didn't have English as first language. Methinks I'll transfer my money elsewhere, sh*t on the card and send it back to them.
jonathanc
Thats almost standard for all Credit card refunds I think. It won't usually take 14 days though. Mine is usually refunded in a week.
CJ
It isn't just banks though. Last year I booked 2 flights with 2 separate airlines and after they cancelled them they informed me that it would take 30 days to refund me - and it bloody well did too! Paul
Even worse, the guy in whatever country he was in really didn't have English as first language. Racist ! Their call centre is in the Phillipines I think? I was with them years back but got so fed up with their mistakes and dishonest staff that i cancelled the account and got a different card with a UK based call centre. LolaBoost94
Chase has been a pretty good company as well. I've heard bad things about Capital One. I did have a car financed through them... refinanced through a credit union after a year so I didn't give them much time to jerk me around.
