wesmi01
Ok race logic tration control was set to dry. It was saturday night at 7.30 so road may have been a little damp. Launched from the lights, high up in the revs it back fired. Similar to when traction normally cuts in, but this was loud!!! It's the first chance ive had for a high speed launch in the dry. Was this back fire down to traction control or something different??? Cheers. Mike.

Branners
more than likely the traction control, on a good day you can make it backfire continuously. JB

Branners
If you manage to keep it going continuously (like on snow or ice) then it can be bad, but generally its not a problem. You should hear Leon when he's running his car in the wet, sounds like a shoot out at the OK corral. I certainly used to get some great misfires from my import in the wet, so you can certainly get the noise from an auto. JB
Dragonball
I think it is down to the retarding of the spark and you should not be worried! However - what do I know:p Nah - wheels were obviously trying to spin and sounds like it cut in Any doubts - just call racelogic direct - very helpful Cheers Paul

chrispazzi
I like my exhaust valves "medium rare", but if you like yours "well done", backfiring is the way to go!
