Guest tanabe
hi just wondering what mpg you would get from a tt auto (looking to buy thats why i have loads of questions) thanks
ManwithSupra
To be honest mate in the nicest possible way if your worried about MPG then the Supra isn't for you. MPG probably average 20-22 if you drive normally. ALOT less if you like the loud pedal
Guest tanabe
thanks for that not to worried about mpg, just need some idea so i can convince the wife to let me have one, as a weekend car
Josh
I filled my car to the brim at Hopwood services (J2 M42) then drove to Southampton. Filled up when I got there (at the nearest Shell to the ferry port) and it cost me £20 to fill. About 140 miles for £20 at £1.45 a litre. Work that out

Dnk
On a steady sensible run i've had 30 ish out of my car but that is being very sensible and no town driving. You will get low to mid twenties with average use.

Josh
Josh as thats around 46 mpg which a mkiv supra will never do ! Extremely weird but true. From J2 M42 to Southampton and when I got there I filled it up as much as it would go and it cost me £20 and a few pence. True story! scotty71
To the OP, as dnk states you will never get 46 mpg out of any supra even driving like Miss daisy Expect 23/25 around town abit more on the motorway and 15>20 if caining it
Dnk
Are you sure it wasn't 20 litres and not £20 ? 140 miles divided by (20 litres) = 4.4 gallons which is 31.8 mpg which has a chance if you drove like a nun Edited April 13, 2011 by Dnk (see edit history)
Gaz6002
The Supra does 34mpg on the extra-urban cycle
Dnk
The Supra does 34mpg on the extra-urban cycle When i had my first uk car which was almost new with very low mileage it did 32 mpg on a run into europe, that was being very well behaved though

The pump stopped first at about £19.50 and I carried on to £20. I'll fill up full as I get off the ferry on the way back then fill up when I get back to Halesowen and I'll take pictures for proof
Kirk
If you have to ask then you cant afford it.... simples But im with DNK on this, there is NO way a TT sup will do 46mpg at normal cruising speed so im calliing BS on that one.
snake
[46mpg] I will have tp get rid of my 1.3 fiesta and buy another supra for better mpg. I managed about 23/24 mpg over a distance of 600 miles mainly motorway driving [bPU TT].
