1jz and 2jz vvti injector question

Hi all

I understand the 1jz and 2jz vvti have side Feed injectors as opposed to the non vvti top feed

Now I've seen a top feed fuel rail for the 1jz vvti, does that mean with that I can use the same injectors and in a non-vvti? Say for example the non vvti uk 550cc injectors in a 1jz vvti with the top feed fuel rail?

And also are the throttle control ecus interchangeable between 1jz and 2jz?

Any advice would be much appreciated guys :)

Thanks

Non vvti injectors are side feed as well dude ;) In fact Im pretty sure its the same fuel rail between VVTI and non.

So they are a straight swap between non and vvti engines for definate? :)

Btw: I knew You would be the first to respond :)

EEEEEEE nono .... The VVTI Engine uses a Top feed High impedance on the 1JZ haha i've just replaced mine...

Extra note. i went with 850cc and had to modify the fuel rail to suit :)

Any advice where to get the correct injectors please?

depends on what size you are looking for. Sard do a 540cc injector that drop straight in but i went for some of http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/ can't remember the code of the injectors i got but i did need to modify the fuel rail and injector clips.

i'll take a look later and let you know. i think they were for the 1zz engine and i just ordered 6 of them.

cheers
