supra_aero
Hope I spelt that right...any how I want to register a domain and upload a website but prices seem to have rocketed from2 years ago. Registering a domain seems cheap - e.g. £10/year or less for a dot com. But hosting is now £30 or so. Is there any where people can recommend? Thanks

neo2810
I found Heart terrible when dealing with them for a client, however, that's a personal view so don't take my experience as gospel. I've always used Krystal.co.uk. Their cheapest package is £25 a year and you get shedloads for that. Then they have options for every situation. They are extremely resposive, very solid and resilient, and customer support is excellent (they will look after you).

Robzki
I have had very bad experience with heart internet. just my personal experience but they really are an inept bunch of useless morons, happy to take your money but no after sales support. I then tried http://www.dream-hosting.co.uk and have been with them for a few years. nothing seems too much trouble, I've broken my site on several occasions, one quick message to them and its sorted in hours. They don't earn a lot from me but treat me well. I'm not up on all the techy stuff so someone else may give you more info on whether they really are as good as I think they are. I just use it to hold my domain and play about learning(its why I break it a lot)
