Sean1933
Right guys, im hopefully lining up a new project car which is based in the Midlands, I believe around the Birmingham area. It is not road legal so will require transportation via trailer. I am based down on the south coast @ Hailsham (BN27), near Eastbourne/Brighton so estimating approx 200 miles each way. Does anyone know of any good/reasonably cheap transportation companies? (idea of costs anyone???) Or does anyone have a trailer and fancy helping out a fellow member, obviously with some sort of compensation your way . Thanks in advance! Chris Wilson
If this may need moving again a cheaper option may be to put a tow bar on your road car and hire a trailer to go and get it yourself. Not much good if your road car is a Micra though
Dnk
A lot would depend on the tow car Chris, i towed a twin axle with a mkiv on it with a 850 Volvo estate and i wouldn't do it again, definitly needs a decent sized wagon like a landcruiser, range rover etc
Chris Wilson
My V90 is happy enough, but probably borderline on the weights The wife's Cherokee Jeep makes it a breeze, but is too fond of petrol stations for my liking
