bodilx6
After a more than quick drive through germany, I get kind of a 'stutter'/misfire when the car is boosting. I just filled it up with 98, so that should be ok. Car is BPU (all stock) and when I get the stutter, it looks like it leans out shortly. It seems to run perfectly at a cruise, even 100mph. Any ideas where I should look? I'm kind of worried, but all seems 100% ok at idle/cruise...
ulysees
Check the plugs. Have you washed the engine bay recently?
bodilx6
No wash.. Thought of the plugs. They might have 10-15k on them. Iridium

pistonbroke
Supraturbochris had this exact issue on his, after eliminating plugs, coil pack clips and connections. It turned out to be a coil pack.

bodilx6
Ok, i thought they ran 30k or so.. Is it typical to show after three days blasting through germany and lapping the Ring? I mean; after hard use? It came quite sudden over few miles.. - but cool pack or plugs. I guess I'll just change the plugs and see.. Now, finding that guide... ;-)
Deacon2k
I had same problem. one of the lads on here (hodgson) took a look and sorted it. turned out to be the plugs.
bodilx6
Sweet! Gonna' try to change them. Anything I should be aware of except what the guide from mkiv.com describes? I'm worried that I come across a stuck one and break something... - I have done quite a few maintenance and installation jobs on the supra, just never did the plugs..
