fuldhat
Hi Got a idle issue, that has slowly become worse. TT-6 1993 Jspec, BPU. Start from cold - No problem. Start from warm - No problem. But when drivning at steady speed and the revs are between 1500-2500 rpm and you press the clutch the down, the revs will hold(anywhere between 1200-2000 rpm), until you just blip the throttle, and the revs will drop down to normal, Could the solution be to clean out the idle control valve? Or could it have something to do with the Lamda sensor? Since its seems to be running a bit rich atm. Thanks so far.
sideexitsupra
Fairly basic thought from me. Have you checked that the mechanism is moving freely? Is the spring always returning? Not the pedal, the throttle body. What happens if you are stationary and hold the revs at 2k? Do they drop back or hold. Easy to check, so worth a look. fuldhat
Already checked and the throttlebody returns to normal position. Regarding holding the revs, while stationary, then i can check that next week to 100% sure, but it drops down to around 11-1200 sometimes, and other times to 800 rpm.
