Lude
got a double adapter, so can have my aftermarket oil pressure sensor & stock. the adapter doesnt fit the engine block? however if i try the adapter in something else with a 1/8NPT thread it fits? the thread is the same size as the stock oil presure sensor, as they both fit other "holes" with the same thread? Chris Wilson
One will be 1/8 BSP and one NPT. Very similar but won't fit.
hodge
My money is on either the adaptor thread (male) being oversize or the (female) hole your putting it into being slightly undersize. I come across this a lot. I've got an 1/8NPT gauge I check all the thread depths with before I put an adaptor in incase it needs tapping out. Lude
well the female is the standard location, on the engines stock pressure sensor. 1/8 NPT fits into this (greeddy gauges, the stock sensor) this doubele adapter doesnt tho, so its obv wrong somehow. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250756625200&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT i need to look into the BSP thing, or can someone advise which size adapter i need to fit?
