neo2810 Posted April 8, 2011 Share Posted April 8, 2011 (edited) Guys, a friend is running a fundraising poker tournament on Friday 6th May at 7pm to raise funds for Childline and Caner Research. It is £10 to buy in and they will be splitting the prize fund between the top few players (amount is dependent on numbers). If you go out of the tournament in the first 2 hours you can buy back in for £5, after that it becomes a knockout. Apart from the top few players walking away with a cash prize there will be spot prizes on the night as well. The venue is the Circus casino in Newcastle, just behind central station. You’ll need to be there for 18.30 for registration. He's hoping to get 200 folk.
