Jimmy James
Just changed my gear shifter knob today for momo one and the old one was so hard to pull off, I pulled and the whole shifter came off! Is this supposed to happen?
Swampy442
Im assuming its a manual, next time try and unscrew it Are you some sort of Geo-style beast? How did you pull the whole lever off?
Jimmy James
Yeah it's manual , haha I didn't pull hard lol. Looks like it was just pressed fitted on, has no threads on it.

neo2810
The Momo knobs don't screw on. They have a plastic sleeve, slips over the gear stalk which is then clamped on by perpendicular screws tightened around the sleeve. The clamping screws are hidden inside the head of the knob and usually the knob will have screws from the top down (allen key type usually) which, once undone, allow you to unscrew the top and middle portion of the Momo head to get access to the clamping screws. Jimmy James
Yeah I fully understand that there is a thread on top of the shifter but the whole thing came off lol. I pushed it back on so I hope it'll stay that way it's still fine to drive was just out in it :o)
