Mistermann
To all of those very clever chaps and chappettes out there that can fabricate these sort of things, I need a support bracket for my fmic. Similar to this i guess: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Alum-Intercooler-Bracket-Mounting-bar-Supra-240SX-Civic-/390070660166?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5ad205ec46 Just without the ridiculous shipping costs. Can anyone help - OR peoples advice on how their intercoolers are supported to chassis Thankyou

Mistermann
My intercooler is similar to this
Dnk
This is mine and hangs off 2 L shaped brackets at the top fixed to the threaded lugs welded to the intercooler
Dnk
Are these 2 lugs threaded ? If they are then you can fix the intercooler the same way mine is
Mistermann
They certainly are - i'll have a proper look over the weekend at fixing in a similar fashion to yours - thanks for the pics and guidance
Dnk
No problem. You'll need to get 2 spacers made to drop it down to the right height and 2 bolts long enough to fix these to the intercooler and to the 2 90 degree brackets to fix to the frame above. Same as my rather rough drawing
