cje001
All, Im no expert with these, they were done in May-10 and I have only had the car since last week, thought i`d pop them on here for assessment! Car is standard except FMIC, decat, Apexi exhaust and HKS Intake. Going to take the car to THOR racing at some stage to get it checked over probably when i can put some bits and bobs on. Thoughts? Swampy442
Nice smooth torque and power curves.
Homer
There's something very wrong with the torque graph, TT's especialy BPU should not look like that, AFR's are too lean and boost is late & creeping. Is it an auto? I think the torque & bhp lines aren't to be trusted, but the afr and boost look 'real'
Nic
Looks like the turbos are running in parallel.
Chris Wilson
All the graphs look bizarre to me.
TTRickeh
Weird looking graphs. So you had 318.8 bhp at 1.1bar according to the first graph (which seems low power for that level of boost), so how on earth did you gain 63bhp in the next power run in the same day if you were already at 1.1bar of boost? Do you have the power/torque graph associated with power run 1 and the afr/boost associated with power run 2?
Scott
Those graphs are mental. What were they drawn on? What ECU are you running? Car is running quite rich on WOT and as Darryl said the boost is creaping quite badly. In TTC you should actually see the boost spike quite early. Doesn't look like TTC in the pressure graph but it does in the power/torque graph. Wierd
cje001
Answers to all, no idea, these arent my graphs - they were done before i got the car. No sure how they were done i.e. why the power is different on the 2nd. No FCD, no restricter ring etc. Think i`ll take it to THOR or can someone recommend somewhere in the midlands (Stoke area) which can check the setup etc? No mate i dont - just the above - these were in the 'pack of papers' that i got with the car.

If it has no FCD and no restrictor ring I take it there are still cats in place? Or the stock exhaust? Something must be stopping the boost from going through the roof. Thor can be a little high with their power guestimates. It's a fairly simple task to have a look over the car, if you know what you are doing, so it would be best to see if a local member would take a look for beer tokens. I'm happy to if you fancy a drive, I'm running low on tennents

Mine's between 10.5 and 11 after 4.5krpm No mate i dont - just the above - these were in the 'pack of papers' that i got with the car. Ah ok. Maybe it's the same run and the first power figure as at the wheels.

Maybe there is a ring in place holding the boost back. Scotland`s a little far

Maybe it's the same run and the first power figure as at the wheels. You're right, I was just looking at the transition point. I wonder what is causing that. Edit: I wonder if those graphs are really from a Supra Thats what i didnt understand - no cats and APEXi exhaust so thats why i was checking as i expected it to be hitting 1.4bar without the ring in place and i was expecting it to be cutting out all over the place with no FCD... Maybe there is a ring in place holding the boost back. Scotland`s a little far I've seen over 1.6bar so it's very likely there is something in place. Either there is something restricting the system (RR most likely) or your compressors are chipped to hell. In the 2nd case the intake temp would be sky high though so I would say there is some sort of restriction on the system. Roadtrip! cje001
Booked in at THOR for next week for a checkup. Want the car perfect so they will sort. Im not placing too much reliance on the graphs as i dont know who did them etc and it may not have been done right, plus the car pulls well and something must be holding the boost at 1.1bar or it would just go higher!! Dnk
Would it not be worth asking who you bought the car off whats been done. My car has been on Thors dyno and the graphs you get are much easier and better to read than what you've posted above
cje001
Would it not be worth asking who you bought the car off whats been done. Already have they said no restrictor ring and no FCD - which doesnt go with what happening to the Boost. Gonna let the pro`s check it out. Its running fine on the road but the car is a 'for keeps' car and i`ve plans for it over the next few years so i need a solid base, so checkup is the first priority, make sure everything is as it should be.
