rough idle on warm start up

My car is a Jspec TT auto with a Emanage blue fitted.

Got a bit of a niggly problem as in when the car is switched off (when warm), if I go to start it again, say around 10mins, it stalls straight away, is reluctant to start again, but when it does it's misfiring, can't tell if it's 1 or 2 cylinders a miss.

Keep the revs at say about 2000rpm and after a couple of mins it's fine once more.

Now i've performed a diag on the ecu and it's coming up with code 31, after disconnecting the battery for an hour, I checked the codes again without switching the engine on (ignition only), expecting to see code 55, but 31 was still there.

Now from searching 31 is the map sensor, the emanage is working off the standard map sensor as far as I know.

I'm going to pull the plugs out tomorrow and see if there is any evidence of overfuelling, but can anyone else think of other checks I can do.

I was thinking maybe dribbling injector leaking, or could it be a problem with the mapping side of things?

cheers Jon

Best thing you could do is hook a laptop up to the EMB and record a datalog of everything while starting the car and idling it :) Then post it up here.

Thanks for the reply Ian, unfortunatly I don't have any software for the emange or data lead, I read somewhere it isn't a standard USB lead, so I will have to find someone that can perform the datalog..

cheers Jon
