johnny g
Your alternator only puts out the rated amps at 2000+rpm, they're around half that at idle, therefore you don't really charge too much at idle.
MizTheWiz
i see the problem i have is my batt is very low. i jump start it leave it for a while and it goes flat again. sounds like i need to charge it fully or jump and rev the hell out of it lol.......thanks for your quick reply
johnny g
Yep, a jump won't do it any good. Get a trickle charger and put a full charge in it - or just jump start it and drive for 30 mins keeping the revs over 2000rpm
