safcdixon
Hi, what is the best diy way too remove the chrome plating from my alloy wheels, I tried yesterday with a wire wheel on my angle grinder but it barely took the shine off, so what way have you removed chrome/paint from your alloys? Thanks marc
hodge
You won't get it all off by hand. Best was is sandblasting. Will only cost you 20 quid a wheel ish.

Dnk
I think you'll need to have them stripped at a chromers, i doubt sand blasting will remove any thats still fixed to the wheel.

safcdixon
chrome stripper will do the trick Might be a daft question but can you buy it? Or is it a industrial gear?
Rob_Mitchell
you need to put a reverse charge through it for it to work. there might be other stuff on the market which might work
