Stewart10
Travelled up to Milton Keynes on Friday night from Plymouth and although I was doing 71 miles an hour most of the way it used more fuel than it seemed to last time out. Is this likely to be down to the o2 sensors? Or should i just slow down? I am driving an n/a
scotty71
your getting 30 mpg........ how can that be bad ??? Based on 1.30 per litre 1.30 x 4.54 (litres>gallon) = 5.90 45.00 fuel put in divide 5.90 price per gallon = 7.6 gallons 230 divide 7.6 = 30 mpg. You cant really moan at that Edited April 3, 2011 by scotty71 (see edit history)

snake
fill the tank ,set the trip, drive it a hundred miles, fill the tank and work out the mpg . The price of the fuel makes no difference to the mpg.

I know the price of fuel makes no difference to mpg snake (hi by the way:D), but Stewart originally said he had spent more on the same trip

JS2004
Not bad, I got 22 mpg approx in an N/A driving to Newcastle then to Durham, from Hull. approx 166 miles and cost £46 at the pump, 1.36p/l - my math shouldnt be too far off. I didnt keep at a steady 70 though
