Car won't start after a 1hour run

Hi Guys

Just arrived at the O2 after a 1 hour drive from home.. Parked the car and as I lifted my foot off the accelerator the car cut out.

Tried to start the car again but she won't turn over.... Car has fuel, starter motor is turning but the car doesn't start.... I am here for a couple of hours now until Peter Kay finishes..... Hoping the car will start later or I'll be calling the RAC....

Any ideas?

Cheers

Rob

NA or TT? Is the fuel pump priming? Does it smell of fuel when cranking it? Check wires to ignitor pack. Do you get any coughs or splutters as if its trying to fire?

So came out of O2 and the car wouldn't start.... Tried a couple of things and they didn't work so called the RAC.... Continued to work my way through checking things and thankfully checked the ECU harness.... Which had somehow worked it's way loose..... Ahhhh

Oh well better than waiting for the RAC... Just got to put the footwell back together tomorrow and try ANC find out why it came loose in the first place ;)

Well done, thats horrible when things happen like that, unusual for the ECU connector to work loose, I bet it put a bit of a dampener on your enjoyment of Pete Kay, shame, good you fixed it and good for the rest of us to remember.

Hi Bob

Well let's be honest.... We know more about Supras than most mechanics... It was only because my SAFC was dead that I started pulling the passenger footwell apart....

Worth a check if the car won't start though....

Cheers
