David P
Thought that would get your attention. There is a 3 spoke Lexus steering wheel here for £20. It is a TRD wheel without the badge. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LEXUS-IS200-99-04-STEERING-WHEEL-/200592249602?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2eb43ad302

David P
When I posted a pic of my TuRD steering wheel which is the same as that but with Tiptronic buttons and a TRD hooter button badge stuck the middle, there was a gaggle of ..... "Where did you get that mate"? Now I give the heads up there's a bucketfull going for a song, I am an arse. Compare the pics below with a TRD wheel and ask yourself if it is worth shelling out £1,500ish more because the badge was glued on in the Toyota factory. Scott
That's not a TRD wheel, isn't even close. It is however the same as the VVTi wheel....... as I have one Edit: The one you have just posted up, the one you said you have, is a celica wheel with a TRD badge. I have one of those too In fact, just to show both side by side.... http://www.mkivsuprastar.com/Supra/Interior/IMG_5360-1000.jpg
David P
Here's a 'real one', without the Tetly perforations, but TRD wheels come in both flavours, in fact the Lexus wheel is without the perforations. Yet I can't justify a months wages more for something that is almost the same. Maybe I am the only Supra owner without money to burn

Maybe I am the only Supra owner without money to burn http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=129541&d=1301771485 Yeah I'm the same. In saying that, I have honestly gone off the look of the TRD. I'm very happy with my Celica wheel, I was going to sell my IS200 one on but I've decided to keep it as a spare
David P
I too prefer the look of mine compared to a 'real one' because I don't like shiny and bright things in my line of sight. Although I may get it re-covered to make it thicker wristed once I have more important Suprastuff finished.

David P
edited your thread title for you. Erm, the thread subject steering wheel(s) on ebay didn't have any centre(s) at all. But the thread has been informative and entertaining in a Supranurd sort of way, and Scott and I are not bickering. All's well that ends well. Dnk
Compare the pics below with a TRD wheel and ask yourself if it is worth shelling out £1,500ish more because the badge was glued on in the Toyota factory. The genuine TRD wheels are expensive but there were 2 on ebay very recently and both looked in very good conditon for under £600 each
