2JG
Afternoon All This week my speedo has stopped working, and is no longer clocking up any miles. My initial checks were to make sure that the plugs at the back of the clocks were in securely. After trying this and taking it around the block it has made no difference and still not working. I have done a search and those results lead to a dodgy/broken convertor or de-limiter. So I have just taken the dash apart again and removed the clocks, but cannot find any sort of convertor or de-limiter that is tied into the wiring loom or the back of the clocks. The car definatley clocks up in miles, and I have gone quicker than the restricted speed, on a private test track of course There have been no warning lights come on to indicate an error either, soooo, does anyone have any advice on what I can try next? Many thanks Jeff

Many thanks Jeff Jeff the speed converter will be under the car wired directly in to the loom at the gearbox from speed sensor on drivers side! I found out the hard way! Do your self a favor and put the box wiring back to stock the put a new one in behind the dash. J
2JG
I see, guess I'll have to take it into the garage if it's under the car
JohnHandy
I see, guess I'll have to take it into the garage if it's under the car Why?? jack and a couple of axel stands is all you need the wire is accessible between the gear box and the tunnel 10min job mate.
