Hey guys just got Grid back from a mate after about 6 months of him having it now ive got a ps3 with GT5 (not starting a compare games and argue thread) but is it just me that finds games like Grid just much more fun?

I no there are a load of people on here playing GT5, i think we should get a few Grid races going as that would be alot of fun me thinks.

you can get the game for about £5 of ebay well worth the money!! here is a taster for you.

I ended up selling my PS3 cos i preferred Forza on my Xbox. That does look good though.

I found Forza and GT5 to be the same bit slow takes along time to get into it and very serious racing as Grid everything feels fast and exciting realy recommend it to everyone

I found forza to be absolute useless compare to gt5

Are you joking? Lose the back end even slightly on GT5 and it wont come back, utterly uncontrollable. Any decent cars took weeks of re-racing the same tedious lowbie races over and over and over, trying to do anything at all involved ridiculous amounts of button clicking to confirm. B class was a joke....need i go on?

The only thing i miss about GT5 was the sounds of the cars. I had a classic that just sounded awesome through my 7.1 system :D

true true i hate the fact when you pull the handbrake up on GT5 it slows the car down to about 10 MPH i like to slide around corners (then crash) when i play games it should be more fun!

Realy car sounds of GT5 are awfull i think cant stand them

so who has got grid on PS3 or XBOX 360 can see a little race going on here??

Yeah the hand braking on gt5 is a bit bad but losing back end was easy to control, i just get rid of any computer controlled things like the braking, traction control and its immense play time

but on forza you brake and the car wont turn, dont have controlled braking cant adjust the controls for gears etc and none of the cars feel at all right but thats just my opinion i just hate the game and didnt like it at all but im not saying gt5 is the be all and end all but i think its miles better

I have it on PS3 :)

stu861 - Lol how mad is that, been a while since I picked up Grid but funny enough I fancied a quick go on it last night on the 360 :D

It is a great game, might try and get back in to it over the next few weeks to complete it, then I can justify going out and buying Shift2 as that looks pretty awesome.
