Pardon my ignorance but I've only had my Sup about a week (still :D).

Is my dash normal in that despite cleaning it, it is slightly sticky to the touch and the surface finish seems to come off on your fingernail if you're not careful?

I already have plans to either spray it or maybe get one of these stick on cf kits.

Some of the pics posted on this thread are gorgeous, particularly the ones of CJs and Dave's cars :respekt:

Phew! Good job I spotted this thread before posting something similar.

Anyways, I'm looking to p*ss some money away on the Supra. Only had her 6 days. The dash does my head in. For such a gorgeous car what were they thinking with the interior?

I'd like a wood effect dash like in jags etc but would it look tacky? Carbon fibre doesn't do it for me nor do flat colours. Any suggestions?

I should be able to get your dash coated in wood effect laminate, as well as many other effects if interested. I am getting a set of dash panels covered with real carbon fibre laminate at the moment, saw the test sample yesterday and it is going to look stunning when finished (next week hopefully.)

If anyone wants their dash doing, you could send me the parts and I could turn them around and get them back to you in around 3 weeks. The car can still be used without the dash panels it's not pretty but no big problem. There are 2 processes to choose from either carbon 'look' or real carbon fibre laminates. There is also a big choice of different laminates available, I'll get some swatches and post photos.

I can also do other parts such as engine cover, fuse box cover, etc.

Yep, quite normal unfortunately. This being the main reason so many people want to cover it up! :complain: I think most people would be content with it if it didn't scratch so easily!

Mines bad around the hazard switch, window switches and ashtray. Just waiting to see a kit I really like that's fairly easy to fit.
