Nic
Disc brakes front and rear. The Supra was fitted with 2 brake options. If you're not sure which you have post up some pics of your calipers. Smaller Brakes Front - Calipers 2pot/Discs 296mm x 32mm Rear - Calipers 1pot/Discs 307mm x 16mm Larger Brakes Front - Calipers 4pot/Discs 323mm x 30mm Rear - Calipers 2pot/Discs 324 x 16mm Fit new Toyota discs, you can get these from your local Toyota dealer. Email Chris Wilson he does his own performance pads for both brake sizes.

Dnk
Just be carefull your local Toyota dealer doesn't rip you off, there seems to be a big differance in price between all the dealerships. Also stock pads and discs are more than up to the job of stopping a mkiv
Tyson
I would highly recommend Steve Manley of Inchcape Toyota Oxford. He offers great discount for club members, did me a really good deal on a oil cooler. Should have been 333 quid and I got it for 278, which is basically without VAT. t-one234
is it alot of work and money to upgrade to the bigger UK spec brakes? or is it just as good to replace them identical disks and pads? im not going to be doing any performance modding to the engine other than an exhaust so i may just keep them the same size although for asthetics, bigger brakes to appeal

It's straight forward swapping to the larger brakes, just a case of removing discs and calipers and replacing with the larger ones. All parts can be bought brand new, price would be £1K+ front and rear for everything. The larger brakes are very good and are well worth fitting. If you don't want to spend that kind of money though, then a good set of pads, decent brake fluid, braided brake lines and a stopper for the brake master cylinder will make a big difference to the pedal feel, bite and fade. Chris Wilson does some good fast road pads. Use genuine OEM Toyota Discs. STY1004-4 Goodridge Brake Line Set - JZA80 DOT 5.1 Motul RBF600 or Castrol SRF brake fluid. t-one234
thanks again nic maybe a silly question, but what does a stopper do? thanks tone
Nic
maybe a silly question, but what does a stopper do? With the engine ticking over get someone to press the brake pedal and you'll see the brake master cylinder flex. The stopper braces the BMC to minimise any flex, this helps firm up the pedal feel and transfer more of the braking power to the calipers.
