Dnk
Never had a problem with my o/e battery from Toyota and mine was half the price Halfords were selling the equivalent for. How long do you leave the car for without it being run ?

I think its the 1st one Never had a problem with my o/e battery from Toyota and mine was half the price Halfords were selling the equivalent for. How long do you leave the car for without it being run ? It was off the road for about 2 months over Christmas with Batt disconnect when re connected was flat ?? so purchased a new one. now its used at weekends and some evenings (i use a van for work). But still it runs flat now and again just get a clicking noise on start up and have to jump. I never go far though is it a possibility not driving long/hard enough to give full recharge?? SteveC
A number of years ago, I gave up hoping the car would start after being parked up for a few weeks and I bought an Accumate trickle charger. Never had a problem since.

johnny g
I've just gone for an Optima Yellow top, good for ICE installs and (relatively) deep cycle. Good CCA too.
