attended thoresby park today for a show and shine and entered the supra in to the Toyota category and best modified just for some fun (i dont take shows too seriously)

so the Toyota group didnt go well,i felt the judges hated mine as it had been played with and they opted for a standard celica as the winner and a standard is200 as runner up,The judge was the moderator of the celica forum i believe but i had a laugh with them.

The Modified group was made up of 35 different cars all different makes and apparently the judges were looking for tasteful modifications, i was against skylines, scoobys, evos etc however 2 cars down from me was a rather nice wrx that had 35 grand sunk in to it by the owners own admission so i was more happy to loose to him which ultimately i did..... him 1st and me second.

came away well happy! one other supra there today a white 99 auto but wasnt in the show so i hope i did the forum proud...................................

Something ive been wanting to do since building the sound system is to fit a vault gauge just to keep an eye on the power levels im running,Ive had zero issues since fitting the power cap to the power cable with the lights dimming when the system is cranked up but its always good to keep an eye on things.

On top of this ive always disliked my clock so i was in two mind weather i should fit a clock with external temp gauge as standard or just replace for a vault meter which i decided to go with.

The plan was to fit the gauge flush with the dash but i actualy liked the sat up look better so i went with that.

I took the switched power form the cig lighter itself,The earth from an existing earth for the horn and the power for the lighting from the ash tray light in the centre just infront of the arm rest.
