jonathanc
I've bought my HTC Desire unlocked on eBay but it still came with the T Mobile branding. Everything works fine on my Voda contact but when my missus uses it on her prepaid Voda sim she keeps getting spam SMS messages. This is from someone called "50" and the message is always our landline area code. I have no idea why is this happening. One thing I did was to switch off all data features as she currently has a prepaid so we only use wifi for internet. She can make/receive calls and even normal sms fine but she gets hundreds of those sms spam every day. Always the same sender (shows up as "50") and always the same message (our landlind area code) I am truly stumped...anyone have any clue whats going on? Attero
You probably better off phoning your service provider for an answer to this.

Thinking about it but being a prepaid card I am not even sure if they'll bother I suspect its from my phone but that would be crazy ... her balance doesn't decrease so she can't be sending herself sms... also bit curious if someone else is spamming then why just the area code? Scott
It definitely only happens with the desire and not another phone?
