jevansio
...and are not running around on banded wheels. See that comment don't help my decision, I can't get out my head that they won't be as good as before, it's one of the major reasons I'm considering getting another set for the rear in the perfect size. I just can't get out my head what would happen if they fail if I was doing a mile event or something
Bailey.
Dan that sucks mate, I'm still not sure if he has gone out of business. I hope not for your sake, surely someone must live near there? Jamie what sizes would be perfect for a stock bodied car with uk rear brakes? Prices are not to bad tbh!
JamieP
I reckon they would be ok, if I was doing it I'd not have them banded though, I'd give them four wheels to work with, cut the wheels in the right place and have one weld instead of two. I'm getting fed up of my boat and this may be a final straw before my Supra boat sails on to someone else to be honest.

Is 10's not too wide? And tyres 275/60/15??

JamieP
Was that on stock arches? Love that pic!! Yeah thats stock arches and the coilovers was not moved from my street wheels, if you go 28" you will have to jack the rear up which will chuck your geo settings miles out. Bailey.
Thanks for the info, although there's a hold up on the build at the minute it would be good to get this sorted so it another thing off my mind. Have these semi slicks been used in wet/damp weather?

dandan
I spoke to Jim today and I should have my wheels back this week. He hasn't gone bust but I think things are changing a little with the business (not sure if that is for better or worse though).
General Banter
If people need wheels widening in the UK I'm pretty sure Japsalon does them.
