General Banter
Just picked up my first Supra last night (yay) and was quite surprised to find leather seats in the back only, is this correct? All cloth yes, all leather yes but half and half?? I could maybe understand leather fronts as they'll inevitably see the most use, the back seats are so small that on the odd occasion I do find myself offering a lift to Ronnie Corbett I don't see why he should have all the fun! Edited March 31, 2011 by General Banter Change title to prevent me looking stupid! (see edit history)

j_jza80
Hi, this is the norm for imported Supras
KamaSupra
The backseats are that kind of vinyl/leather material for incase there's to be any backseat fun, you can then simply wipe off any mess or spillages with ease

stevie_b
The rear vinyl seats remind me of the good ol' days when cars tended to have vinyl seats throughout. When left out in the sun all day you could practically fry an egg on the vinyl. That's what it felt like to me anyway.
Josh
Leatherette, my mistake! Thanks for the replies, seems an odd thing to do though I find it weird when I see pictures of peoples' J-specs with cloth front seats and leatherette rear seats. It does seem to be a strange combo to come from the factory.

Attero
I prefer the cloth fronts to be honest.
XIL007
yeah it is a strange one this, my last TT had leather all round, but to be honest i thought the cloth seats were better

Guigsy
i liked the cloth on my old facelift. they had cloth in the back too. but the leather in my uk were freezing in the winter and boiling in summer. i got some recaros and had them trimmed with leather and alcantara centres and its the perfect compromise
The Raven
Stock cloth with stock gray carpet added to stock gauges dates the car really badly IMO. Remove all the above ASAP.

SupraDan24
I'd never have leather fronts again after my first supra, freezing in the winter, sweltering in the summer. I've got half leather, half alacantra now and its a happy medium
