Can you fit TT turbos to an NA engine?

admittidly not the best solution but just throwing it out there!!!

 

I love my supra and wouldnt sell it.even for.one thats.identicle but it is alittle slow coming from a Monaro VXR and ive heard the tt lump is less reliable.

 

Ill find my own way no doubt

 

The TT lump is not less reliable. It can be if low quality components are fitted by inexperienced garages. That is what has given the TT engine in the UK a bad name.

 

We race a n/a-t which is a n/a with a turbo fitted.

ive heard the tt lump is less reliable.

 

:lol: now where have you heard such rubbish :lol:

 

How many engines do you know of that can run twice the factory output for miles and miles of hard use in drag racing and circuit racing while also being used to do the shopping on a daily basis.

any of the above in good condition can manage that and probably a shed load more engines that I cant remember

 

dont get my wrong I love my Supra and the 2JZGE and GTE but it aint unique!

How much would it cost to fit TT pistons then? I've read so many times its expensive in relation to a thicker HG, but never seen an actual price on it?

 

uprated head gasket probably £200 plus cam belt kit
