Tyson
Lol we've told you several times, your yellow oil can light is for low oil level. Now, go check that dip stick! It only illuminates on start up he said, he just wondered what it was.

dangerous brain
DB, what rock have you crawled out from? SupramanUK - He's just trying to yank a few chains with that comment, it's an old-timers in-joke I pop in every now and again to start trouble
Tyson
Jep Oil Level is on max, After I put 700ml into -.- When was the last time you checked the level? Putting 3/4 litre could indicate an oil leak or worn seals.
Ian C
Um, are you getting this light when you start the engine, or is it only on when you turn the ignition on? You do know all the lights are supposed to light up when you key on, as a self-test? They go out when you actually start the car.
Nic
DIFF OIL - Rear differential oil temp (only on UK spec) So on a UK spec there is no engine oil level warning light?
bignum
Also make sure the car is on a level surface and left atleast 12 hours before checking, i know this sounds like common sense but you`d be surprised how many don`t know.
Silece2k6
Ok once and for all Only when the ignition is "on", after I startet, all Lamps were out! BUT I'm asking about, because I have much Oil consumption... at the moment I can't tell you how much, because I refilled yesterday to max. What has strucked me is, when I start the engiene, a great blue cloud cames from the exhaust after that white smoke comes out, because its cold. when the Engiene is on temperature everyhink is fine. but sometimes came a blue clout out, when I approach from traffic lights as example. Maybe the "valve stem seals" are damaged? I hope my english is not so bad :/
Tyson
What oil grade are you using as 0W?? I have heard can cause excessive consumption as its too thin. Also do you get any smoke when under boost as this I think is the turbo seals but on start up is the valve stem seals like you mentioned. It could also possibly be worn piston rings. Silece2k6
I do not think the piston rings are through:) What do you mean turbo seal? Drive currently 5W30. Is there a way to check the valve stem seals?

Silece2k6
Ok, then I will have to change security for the times! How do I get the seals, then? Toyota USA or is there a possibility to order from England? The cylinder head gasket must then still the same new!?
Nic
Toyota sell a complete cylinder head gasket/seal kit, this includes everything you'll need including new stem seals. 04112-46056 Toyota Valve Grind Kit http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/9239/picture1uo5.png
