Chris Wilson
AN fittings seal on a pair of cone seats, you should NOT use any sort of additional sealant or PTFE tape. If it doesn't seal with modest tightening something is very wrong. Post some decent photos if you like.
mellonman
Thanks for that chris good to know, i was told that the fitting that was fitted would work fine but that has turnt out to be incorrect! i wont waste your time chris with putting up pics as it was a air line fitting that was put on i believe. I feel completly let down by this company problem after problem

mellonman
i was told that the 90 degree air line fitting would do just as good, just didnt look as good, it had the fuel line clipped to it one end and threaded to the fuel rail an adaptor the other side. it did work well for a month then i could smell petrol but could see where, then another 3 months later it stinks of petrol and i can see clearly where its coming from, lucky it was a short run wyhen i see it could of been alot worse.
