stevie_b
I've got an Intempo iPod dock that I'm happy with and I've used it with an iPod nano 2nd generation in the past. My other half now has an iPod Touch 4th gen, and I don't think the new device can dock into the Intempo. The docking sockets on the 2 iPods are similar but not the same. Does anyone know of an adaptor to convert from one format to another, so I can continue to use the dock with the new iPod? I've googled it but that didn't come up with anything. References to iPods, docks and adaptors are all over the interweb but any useful search hits have got lost in the noise.
stevie_b
Bumpski. I'd be surprised if no-one has come across this problem.

johnny g
Yep, but the earlier ones used Firewire 12v - which isn't supported anymore. Most earlier accessories will support the earlier phones (pre 3g), but the 3g onwards don't support Firewire 12v, and are charged from USB (pin 5 IIRC)
