TonyP
Could anyone give me a rough idea of what it costs to convert an integral single garage into a livable space (bedroom/playroom). There is electricity in the garage, wouldn't need plumbing but would want a radiator put in there, garage door bricked up and window and door from house to garage knocked through. Price excluding finally decorating, painting, carpet etc, I can do that myself. Any ideas of cost from builders or anyone who's had this done would be very much appreciated as I haven't got a clue Thanks Tony
welshbuddy
Bricklayers usually charge for day is about, -100-130 a day. Shouldn't take no longer than a day to plaster board. Most trades do that. Plastered can charge near 100-110 a day. Maybe ask them to do it on price shouldn't take them long to brick door up. For the floor. I would put a floating floor in. Damp proof. Kingspan.boards. if any of that helps? Hard to explain with typo!
