carl0s
sorry, I meant Microsoft WORD, not Excel. This bloody bbs software still doesn't edit thread names properly! can anybody tell me if it's possible to make a table wrap from one column to another? I have a simple 4x1 table (four columns, one row). I am pasting a long list of placenames into the first cell, and I want it to continue in the second cell when it hits the bottom of the page, instead of just extending the cell onto a second page. Any help would be really greatly appreciated!
carl0s
oh bloody hell this is a frigging nightmare. I have a rather long list of place names, and I want it to fill a page or two .. like a flyer.. so it's meant to be something like three or four columns , top to bottom and wrapped around. When a place is deleted, it shouldpull all the text back. how the hell do I do this with Word attached is the names list.. hopefully! carl0s
hmm that's interesting. If I paste the list as a single cell.. 1x1 table, then choose to "Split cells" into 4x1, it does a fair job of speading out the text. does anyone know of a better way? Homer
Not sure if I understand you correctly, but how about pasting the list into Excel then copy the list (select the appropriate number of rows and extend to 4 columns), then paste to word? You can do this as an object or I think a table...
