Whats the effect of doing this...

Just something that I was curious about before actually doing, never seen this asked before.

What would be the effect of installing a car audio subwoofter (quite a large powerful one) above the fuel pump in the boot?

The pumps would be twin in-tank walbro's.

Anyone have any views on possible side-effects?

Cheers,

Gaz.

Yeah, I thought it would be quite well shielded.

Could there be any magnetic inference - its literally got a huge voice coil on the sub and is well loud.

Any other opinions? :)

Cheers

Yeah I have been thinking about it. where did that comment come from anyway? Have you just got one? :)

I'll probably start doing stuff to my car around spring (when weather improves). I was looking at my wheels too.. they're appaulling, got a new dent in one of the alloys - trying to figure out where that came from! Probably a pot hole or something!
