garetheves
Ok i took the plunge and bought this off a friend of mine recently as i starting to commute to work on a bike. I was initially planning on using the roads but have since changed my mind and am gonna use the canal so unfortunately this isnt really suitable, so im looking to cut my losses and get a hybrid instead. This really is a fantastic road bike, it was bought new by the owner for £1400 2 years ago and has been better looked after than my cars. Serviced just over 2 months ago and hardly ridden since. The brand Principia isnt a particularly well known one but has a very good reputation, the frame is aluminium (very very light) and the forks, seat post and handle bar post are all carbon. The rest of the gear can be seen in the pictures. It's a size Large and suitable for someone around the 6' mark, im 6.3 and can just about get away with it I paid £550 for it and havent even ridden it so would be looking to recoup that amount. Branners
Thats almost too nice to ride. Would love to try out one of these newer road bikes to see how different they are to my late 80s race bike. Good luck with the sale.

RedM
Any idea of the sizing?
garetheves
Hopfully the pics should be attached to this post. Re sizing: i dont know the exact frame size (in cm/inches) but id say it was a large, im buying an XL and this one is just a bit smaller than that. Would easily be fine for someone around the 6` mark. If anyone wants to have a look in the metal, im in Wigan lancs and available most evenings and weekends

Pixelfill
Hey Gaz, do you have any info about the groupset?
colsoop
Gaz register here http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/ as you'll be reaching a more specific audience for it. I would also get the info on crank length. Cassette ratios (count the teeth on the smallest and largest cogs). Also measure the top tube and seat tube as these are the important bits for sizing and will no doubt be asked for by anyone looking to buy it. Its a nice bike, good luck with the sale. Told you the hybrid was the better bet
