Suprachargedtt
Good morning gents, I had a set of JiC coilovers on my car, they are in a bad way, ones seized, and one rear has a slight leak, they are a few years old now but I've taken them off and was thinking about getting them refurbed, they are fully height and damper adjustable, anyone know of a UK refurb service for these? Swampy442
I also have JICs and I also asked Mr Wilson, he said just chuck them in the bin and get new ones as its not cost effective to rebuild/rework 'budget' suspension

Chris Wilson
It's all but impossible to get seal kits for the JIC stuff now, at a sensible price, and from what you say they are in a bad way. Best value for money height adjustable coil over kits of worthwhile quality are currently Nitron (http://www.nitron.co.uk) Yours could be rebuilt, but not cost effectively. Do actually need on car height adjustment???
Suprachargedtt
Tbh this is what I thought was going to be said! I didn't realise JIC were a budget brand though! These sat at the perfect height for my car (Soarer) with the kit, it looked low yet I didn't get any problems with speed bumps etc, in theory I don't need height adjustable, I just need the correct ride height. Standard shocks sit way to high, lowering springs are way too low, also I'd like it to be more firmer than stock ...
Chris Wilson
Try this number, they may still have bits, but they may well want to see them before committing : 01684 275000
