your very welcome, the bottom set that fit onto the bodywork, there very hard to remove! i think they use a locktite of some sort, best to give a gentle tap on top of the screwdriver, just to break the seal..

Unless the bottom ones have been replaced recently they could be 14 years old and lost their resilience. Not much point in doing half a job.

The screws can be a nightmare, have patience, invest in screw extractors etc etc but be prepared to drill them out and retap the holes.

Fit the new ones with plenty of grease to protect the threads from rusting or used stainless screws.

We normally end up cutting the rubber off, flattening the metal base off and chisel the screws to get them moving. For some reason Toyota decided to locktite the screws in, god knows why.

I picked these up today but are sadly the wrong ones, these bolt onto the quarter panels. I've ordered the correct ones, but so todays wasnt a total loss decided to remove these ones, they were a little bit difficult but using the approach to flatten the metal and get some mole grips on I had the lot done in 15 mins.

So to clarify:

67293-14051 are the BOTTOM mounts which fix to the car

67281-14050 must be the UPPER mounts which fix to the hatch :)
