Silece2k6
Hello. I have a little problem with my Supra. At full throttle, the car stutters or jerks scary. But if I give three quarters gas, it runs through smoothly. The spark plugs I yesterday also renewed, it has become something better. Setup: 2JZ (Jspec) with Decat and 100cpi Sportcat. Trd Exhaustor.hks ssqv and k&n Filter I tried at 2nd and 3rd Gear and the 1st Turbo do 0,7bar and at 4.000rpm the gauge pulls up to 1,4bar -.- May I equip my Car with à Apexi BC? I still Wrote in my "hello" Treat about my Problem with Engiene Lamp, so that the boost pressure is too high, that the fuelcut activated. Atm i drive Slow down to Safe the twins and engiene. Nic
Is it a J-spec 2JZ-GTE or a European 2JZ-GTE? 1.4bar is too high for the stock turbos, 1.2bar max. A boost controller can only raise the boost, it cannot lower boost. The usual reasons for misfire at high boost is either worn spark plugs, the wrong spark plug heat range or broken coil pack connectors. How To: Refurbish coil pack connectors FAQ: Spark plugs
Silece2k6
Damn it looks like I've got the wrong Plugs.NGK -Laser Platinum - BKR5EP-11 (3440) They are for Stock Not for boosted up to 1,2bar. But i will check the coil pack connectors, too

Supersparks are very good value for money.
CanisLupus
Do you have a Fuel Cut defender? If not it will cut every time you go over 1.0bar. Also by your description you don't have a Restrictor ring and the 100cpi Cat is not enough to keep the boost down. Does it stutter on first turbo with full throttle? nevins
Judging by what he has said he has added parts to the car which has let the boost creep and the fuel cut is activating. Last line of the op says the fuel cuts kicking in.
Silece2k6
When I got the car, no Cat was installed. I've installed a new 100 cell to 550hp. The 1 loader runs without problems under full throttle from 0.65 to 0.7 bar. Only from 4.000rpm captures the stutter when the display shows 1.2 or 1.4 bar so much too much boost pressure. A restrictor ring and FCD I did not. But if I go three-quarters of gas to 1.0 bar then everything's working Fine
Dnk
Fit a 1 bar restrictor ring, boost controller to raise the boost to 1.2 bar max on j spec turbo's and an FCD to remove fuel cut and you'll be sorted.
