SMW
would it be worth gettin the fast start feature on it, can you even get that on the auto sup??? I don't think launch control works with the auto, you just want the basic adjustable setup. If you have a look at http://www.racelogic.co.uk there is a link to a list of dealers, I should think a lot of these can fit as well.
Chase
jast, you're in Warrington aren't you? Are you going to the JapUK Mascrat Manor pub meet on Monday night (M6 J21) ?
scooby_doo_do
I'm in Brentwood, i had the race logic fitted by racelogic themselfes in Milton Keynes. Cost me £160 i think. It has all the launch and other bits..My car's a manual though and not a auto. By far the best bit of kit i ever bought..... Craig..
Guest Terry S
See http://www.torqueic.com as they often do group buys on the RLTC.

Terminator
Self fit is not too dificult. You won't need launch in the auto as you have no clutch. Just use power braking. You want to go for the fully adjustable kit.
scooby_doo_do
Depends if its raining or not.. I still have the dates free so as it is i am.. .. I've only ever raced the supra once and it was crap.. Got a 8.5 sec 0-60 and a 14.2 1/4 a mile..... That was before i had the turbo's put on, and the race logic... So with any luck i should be able to get some better times.. ?? I think i'm just a shite driver !!! As for DP motorsports, i've had my car tuned by them on regular times, very nice chaps and very helpfull... Although Justin @ tourqueic are allot closer and so are Race logic themself... When i had my RLTC fitted, they had to modify the silver box that comes with it as my car was sending a weak signal or something to the box, so the launch didn't work... I don't think anyone else would of been able to fix it had i not of been at race logic headquaters... Craig, p.s. Off home now, so hope you all have a good weekend... Ian C
Originally posted by Neil Sandham Chase have you tried DP motorsport in Warrington ? This was the engine with insufficient fuelling, that eventually ruptured itself by running lean. Personally I wouldn't use them, draw your own conclusions. To avoid potential confusion, RC Developments merely checked the fuelling using the stock O2 sensor and thus missed the fuelling problems entirely. Personally I wouldn't use them either -Ian

Sharpie
Originally posted by Thorin I'd say you definately want the in-cockpit adjustable thingy. Yep, I think this is a must. RL quoted me £240 + Vat for half day fitting or £400 + Vat for full day fitting, so, I guess it depends on how long it takes them. Time quoted is 4hrs but, this can vary. This was just 3 weeks ago! You can see the pricing on their web page. £160 fitted is a steal
Terminator
Originally posted by albundy68 do u reccon the fully adjustable kit is worth the extra beans terminator??? Oh yes and some. ASFAIK the basic kit just gives traction protection i.e. on fixed level of cut, still loads better than stock. BUT you can't change the settings to suit road conditions. Most members of the BBS have the full adjustable kit. It is awesome and gives a wide range of settings to cater for a range of condiditons and driving styles. I am glad that I got the full kit. Even in the summer I still use a range of settings each day, 20% for most of the time, but may be 10% for busy roundabouts where spilt fluids may be a problem, same with traffic lights. In the winter its usally WET, 5% and occasionally 10%.
Chase
Neil DP Motorsports - Cheers, I'll make a note of that, but I may try a DIY fit. Terry Group Buy - How does that work then, I looked on torqueic but there was no prices. I take it the group buy has an effect on the price... Branners
Martin fitted RLTC to my old import and did an exceptional job. Even let me use his dremmel to slice the living hell out of the control box so that it would fit in the Blitz guage/controller pod I had in the car. Well worth the trip.
