Thorin
New touristenfahrten days are well under way. Easter weekend has traditionally been a busy period whereby many do their first visit of the year to the track. Is that a Zonda AND a Koenigsegg approaching the barrier? I'd say so, probably these two... http://pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=25495
AJI
Blimey. Just been reading the spec of the Agera R. http://www.koenigsegg.com/models/agera-r/ Glad to see these types of cars still in production. Its a good solid two-finger salute to the green brigade that has infiltrated many governments of late. Edit to add : I notice it produces 300kg of downforce at 250km/h. I wonder if thats total downforce minus the lift from the body shape or whether the car may be still be producing a net lift?
DJT88
Did my first lap Nordschleife today. man it's good fun. Although I was very slow because I don't know the track. Also passed this Porsche GT3RS that crashed it very bad.
AJI
Always good to start off slow and build up from there. especially on that track I think it was on my first visit I saw a GT3 Porsche which had gone over the track barrier and was parked backwards in the trees! AJI
Some rarity at the track this morning... Not sure if its an original or a replica. But I think its a Mercedes 300SLR. http://www.oursl.com/NewsLetter/NL0902/most_valuable.htm
