AJI
Hard to tell if it is not a replica. But I bet this GT40 could be a bit fun on the track.

Tom S
Kept that quite:) didn't think I did, quite funny but took a different car every year so far... This year will be the first time in the same car
AJI
T-2 months to the 2011 Ring trip.... can't wait AJI.... can't wait, thinks its year 5 of the belt I know what you mean. The place creates a strong addiction. Not only the track, but the whole atmosphere and the people. On a busy weekend there is a buzz in the air that is hard to describe. Sadly though, this year will be the first year in a long time when I won't make it to the Nurburgring (I have a 3-week trip planned to China at the end of summer time). AJI
Looks like there is a Formula car ready to go around the Northloop. Doesn't look like an F1 car even though it is the Grand Prix there this weekend, but any formula car around the Northloop must be amazing to drive. (And also scare the life out of you at the same time).

bodilx6
Judging from the wheels and emblem on the back, I'm saying Alfa Romeo. I know they are doing the C4 and have heard rumors of that platform being used for something else.. Looks sweet!

Thorin
correction... renault dezir http://carsdesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/2011-Renault-Dezir-Top-Speed-resize-View.jpg I wouldn't count on it getting a very good time around the ring. The Renault DeZir is an electric concept that was first officially presented at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. The car is a two seater coupé with butterfly doors, and the interior is of red leather. It features a 148 hp mid-mounted electric motor. This gives the concept rivalry with the Audi e-tron, with 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) in just five seconds and a top speed of 112 mph (180 km/h). That looks more sports-car than it actually is : a 150 bhp electro-engine.

AJI
Race school. Presumably being held on this part of the track due to the F1 this weekend on their usual playing ground.

AJI
Thought I share this with you all..... its an old vid but its a good one. This corner does catch a lot of people out its called Adenauer-Forst and its the first real 2nd/3rd gear corner after a section of pure speed, so the need to bring the car down to slower speed is missed by many. Car stability has improved a lot over the years yes? Seat-belt wearing was obviously optional in those days I've watched a few accidents from this corner over the years, I've seen porsches and BMWs rip tyres and various trim off and also bikers throwing themselves over in to the dirt, but none as spectacular as in this vid! AJI
New touristenfahrten days are well under way. Easter weekend has traditionally been a busy period whereby many do their first visit of the year to the track. Is that a Zonda AND a Koenigsegg approaching the barrier?
